Use this page for practical course questions about interview and conversation setups: framing checks, multi-camera coverage packages, lighting direction, and run-of-show documents. The platform is educational only; we do not provide studio production services or equipment rental.

How to reach us

The fastest way to get a useful answer is to describe your current format (talking-head, two-person interview, or table discussion) and the constraints you have to work with: number of cameras, available space, and how the edit is expected to cut. If you are asking about multi-camera, include whether you want a wide that can play continuously (safety) or a wide used only for transitions.

We answer as an educational team. That means you will get references to course sections, suggested exercises, and planning notes that you can apply in your own environment. We do not offer location scouting, on-site crew, equipment lists to buy, casting, or any guarantee of professional outcomes.

What to include for a useful answer

  • Your format: talking-head, two-person interview, or table discussion.
  • How many cameras you can use, and whether they are locked-off or operated.
  • What feels wrong right now: eyelines, head size consistency, or lighting continuity between angles.
  • If relevant: whether your editor needs a continuous wide safety shot.
